Within this document, we allow you to familiarize yourself with all important information related to the processing of personal data during the operation of the websites raaltrans.com and raal.cz and raal.sk and raaltrans.eu (hereinafter referred to as the websites).

RAALTRANS a.s. takes a responsible approach to the processing of personal data and pays particular attention to their security, all in accordance with generally binding legal regulations. The processing of personal data is governed by applicable legal regulations, in particular Regulation of the European Parliament and of the EU Council 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons in connection with the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and on the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC of the General Regulation on the protection of personal data, (hereinafter referred to as GDPR) and Act No. 110/2019 Coll. on the processing of personal data.
In all matters related to the processing of personal data, you can always contact RAALTRANS a.s. directly, which is the administrator of the personal data it processes in connection with its business. The operator processes only essential basic data, namely identification data (name and surname, IP address, address of residence or registered office, possibly also delivery address, ID number, VAT number) and contact data, i.e. your e-mail and your telephone number. It also processes data about the purchase you made or the services provided, including any communication, especially if it concerns complaints, returns or exercising your rights.
Personal data is processed by the operator in order to be able to provide you with its services. In order to be able to conclude a contract, i.e. to be able to use the services of the contact database, the provider absolutely needs to know your identification and contact details. For this purpose, the provider does not need your consent to process this personal data; the legal reason in this case is the fulfillment of the contract (and possibly the adoption of measures before the conclusion of the contract). Your personal data is also processed by the provider for the needs of further performance resulting from the services provided by us.
The provider also processes personal data for marketing purposes: If you wish to receive commercial communications (hereinafter also referred to as “newsletters”), the provider will process your personal data for the purpose of sending newsletters. Newsletters will be sent to the email address or phone number you enter; either as part of the ordering process or when signing up for newsletters. It is possible to cancel the sending of a commercial message at any time
In order to improve the quality of our services or in the event of a future dispute, the provider is authorized to record telephone calls or store records from the online chat within our customer center. These recordings are kept for six months and then destroyed. Online chat communication is also stored for the same period.
The provider is entitled to process your personal data for the purpose of protecting our rights and legitimate interests, typically in the event of any dispute. In this case, it does not need your consent to process personal data.
The processing of some personal data is directly imposed on us by law, e.g. the provider is obliged to keep tax documents for a period specified by law.
The website uses cookies for its activity, meaning that we process your cookies, including permanent cookies. Cookies are short text files generated by a web server and stored on your computer through your browser. Cookies allow the website to record information about your visit, for example the chosen language and the like, so that the next visit to the site can be easier and more pleasant for you. Cookies are important because without them browsing the Internet would be much more complicated.
Within the settings of your browser, you can manually delete individual cookies, block or completely prohibit their use. For more information, use your internet browser’s help. If you do not allow the use of cookies, some functions and pages may not work as they should.
We use cookies to personalize content and ads, provide social media features, and analyze our traffic. Information about how you use our website is shared by the provider with its social media and analytics partners. By using the website, you agree to the connection of our services: Google, etc.
In order to display targeted advertising within advertising and social networks on other websites, the provider transmits data about your behavior on the website to these advertising and social networks; however, it does not give them your identifying information.
The provider carefully considers and assesses whether the transfer of personal data to another recipient is necessary, and especially whether the potential recipient is able to ensure adequate protection of the transferred personal data. The transfer of personal data takes place exclusively on the basis of a written contract on the processing of personal data. Specifically, personal data is transferred:

  • some personal data may be forwarded to relevant public authorities upon request.
The persons to whom the data is transferred are not authorized to process this data for any other purpose, nor to pass it on to any other person without the consent or instruction of the provider, unless they have a legal reason to do so.
The provider does not transfer your personal data to a country outside the European Union (or outside the EEA states, i.e. the European Economic Area) in which a sufficient standard of personal data protection would not be ensured. It does not even intend to transfer personal data beyond the borders of the European Union.
You can contact us at any time with a request for details on the processing of personal data and the provider will provide you with detailed information free of charge, or we will provide you with a copy of the processed data. This is your right to access personal data. However, the provider points out that in the case of repeated or unfounded requests, it is entitled to demand payment of the costs associated with the provision of information or to refuse the provision of information.
You have the right to correct personal data, i.e. you can contact the provider with a request for correction if the data that the provider keeps about you is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.

You have the right to delete personal data, i.e. you can contact the provider with a request that your
personal data processed by the provider be deleted. The provider will delete your personal data if:

  • the data are not necessary for the purpose for which they were processed,
  • if you have revoked your consent to data processing,
  • the data were processed illegally,
  • data must be deleted to comply with a legal obligation, or
  • the data was collected in connection with the offer of information society services.
You have the right to restrict the processing of personal data , i.e. you can contact the provider to restrict the processing of your personal data. The provider will limit the processing of your personal data if:
  • you deny the accuracy of your personal data,
  • data processing is illegal, but you refuse to delete such personal data,
  • you will request the processing of personal data for the purposes of asserting your claims, even though the purpose for which the provider processed the data has already been fulfilled, or
  • you have raised an objection to the processing and it has not yet been verified whether the legitimate interest of the provider prevails over your legitimate interests.
You have the right to the transfer of personal data, i.e. you can contact the provider to have your personal data provided to you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or to have this data directly transferred to another administrator. The transfer of data can only occur if the processing is based on a concluded contract or on your consent and at the same time it is an automated processing.
You have the right to object to the processing of personal data, in particular if:
  • the provider processes personal data based on its legitimate interest. In such a case, your personal data will not be further processed, unless the provider proves to you that its legitimate interest takes precedence over your interests.
  • your personal data is processed by the provider for direct marketing purposes. In this case, your personal data will no longer be processed.
The period of processing of personal data is determined by the specific purpose of processing in this document. The period for which the provider will process your personal data is determined by the obligations arising from the contract you concluded and other obligations imposed by law, e.g. the obligation to archive documents stipulated by law. In some cases, the period of processing of personal data depends on the duration of your consent to the processing. In any case, we dispose of data that is not needed to fulfill the given purpose or for which we have no legal basis for processing.

If you want to exercise any of your rights, you can submit a request in this way:

a) in writing, by sending a request to the address of the provider’s registered office,

b) by e-mail to the address gdpr@raal.cz with a valid electronic signature, without this
confirmation of identity it cannot be recognized

c) through the provider’s data box

Include in it:

1) Identification data – name, surname, date of birth

2) The exercise of which right you are requesting

3) Clarification of the request – e.g. in the case of correction, the correct information

4) Telephone – for possible clarifications and agreement on the next procedure

In the event that doubts arise about your identity, we are entitled to ask you to provide additional information to confirm your identity.
In the event that this personal data protection policy is drawn up in a bilingual version, the version published in the Czech language takes precedence.
If you believe that the provider is processing your data in an illegal manner, you have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is the Office for Personal Data Protection.
